The core of EPM’s A2 fire-resistant aluminum composite panels consists of a balanced blend of combustible materials (low-density polyethylene (LDPE)) and non-combustible materials (magnesium hydroxide (Mg(OH)₂). This combination gives them fire resistance, delaying ignition and further limiting the spread of fire.

The core of A2 panels should contain 90% non-combustible materials, with a 10% balanced blend of LDPE and other additives.
